Are you Open to the Public?
Yes. A & S Indoor Pistol Range is not a private club. We are open to the public and ready to serve you. We are a community, family, and fun oriented business with a
philosophy of responsible and safe gun ownership and training. Many of our customers are women, and children 12 and over may shoot when accompanied by an adult (21 and over).
What are your Range Rates and Range Rules?
What is the Minimum Age for shooting on the range?
Children 12 and over can shoot on the range when accompanied by an adult, 21 years and older.
Do you offer different Rental Guns for use in the range?
Yes. The range has a large selection of handguns in the rental case. Both
semi-automatics and revolvers are available for rent. Handguns vary from
.22 caliber to 44 magnum. Only for the rental guns, you must purchase ammunition from A & S Indoor Pistol Range.
What are the Requirements for Renting a Handgun?
If an individual comes to the range and wants to rent a handgun, this individual must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid United States driver's license or
identification card.
If a group of people come to the range and want to rent handguns, one person in this group has to be at least 21 years of age and have a valid United States driver's
license or identification card. Even if some members of the group are from out of the country and/or under the age of 21, just one person in the group must meet the
requirements to rent the handguns.
The reason for this is: in order to a rent a handgun, the person renting the handgun must be legally able to purchase a handgun in the United States. Renting a
handgun follows the same rules and requirements as for purchasing a handgun.
Are Eye and Ear Protection required on the range?
Yes. We require the use of safety glasses and ear plugs or shooting sport earmuffs. The appropriate gear is for sale in the range area but if you do not want to purchase
your own, rentals are available for a nominal fee.
Is Someone Responsible Always on Duty at the range?
Yes. There is always a Range Officer on duty when the shooting range is open at
A & S Indoor Pistol Range.
Do you offer Shooting Instruction?
Yes. NRA qualified instructors offer everything from the Basic Pistol Shooting Class to Advanced Conceal Carry classes. Personal instruction is also available.

Is the Pistol Range available for Groups and Parties?
Yes. You need to Contact A & S to reserve a date and time, but our climate controlled indoor pistol range has become a favorite destination
for everything from birthday parties to bachelor and bachelorette parties. Your guests will be talking about the experience for years to come and may just pick up an
exciting new hobby!
Our range has 2 bays (rooms) and each bay accommodates up to 12 shooters at one time. For larger groups, there is a large observation area with a glass viewing area for
others in your group to watch the action and rotate in and out of the range.
Please arrive 30 minutes before your bay rental. Your bay rental begins at the time of your reservation.
For each bay rental reservation, a $60.00 nonrefundable deposit is required. This deposit is required because your lanes cannot be rented to other people
for up to a half an hour before your scheduled time. This policy is to reduce no-shows and last minute cancellations.

What are the Requirements for a Handgun Purchase/Transfer?
Handguns can be purchased by anyone 21 years of age or older.
In order to take possession of a handgun, you must be a resident of Pennsylvania with a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License or Pennsylvania Identification Card.
Procedure for a Handgun Purchase
In order to purchase a handgun in Pennsylvania you will be required to complete two forms: an ATF-4473 form and a Pennsylvania Record of Sale form. In
order to comply with regulations, you must have a valid Pennsylvania state issued Driver’s License or Identification Card.
If your current address is different than the address on your Driver’s License or Identification Card, then you must have a change of address card present.
After filling out the necessary paperwork, a background check will be performed. Our sales associate will submit a background check request to PICS (Pennsylvania Instant Check System).
If an ‘Approved’ status is received back, you will be able to complete the transaction and take your firearm home. This process normally takes 15 to 20 minutes and adds $5.00 to
your total cost.
Procedure for a Handgun Transfer
Transferring ownership of a handgun is required for anyone who is not an immediate family member. In order to do the transfer, you will need the Seller, the Buyer and the handgun
present. The Buyer will follow the same procedure as if they were purchasing the handgun. The Seller will need to complete only a small section of the Pennsylvania Record of Sale
form. The total cost for the transfer is $45.00.
What are the Requirements for a Long Gun Purchase/Transfer?
Long guns can be purchased by anyone 18 years of age or older.
In order to take possession of the long gun, you must have a valid Driver’s License or Identification Card from any state in the United States.
Procedure for Long Gun Purchase
In order to purchase a long gun, you will be required to complete one form: an ATF-4473 form. In order to comply with regulations, you must

Yes, you may purchase a firearm from anyone in the United States; however, the firearm must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) holder.
Any Firearm Shipped IN for Transfer
If you are having a firearm shipped to A & S Indoor Pistol Range and the seller needs our information, you can email a copy our FFL to the seller for your transfer.
Please ensure that your name and phone number are included with the order.
When the firearm is delivered to A & S Indoor Pistol Range and processed through our system, a sales associate will call to inform you that your firearm is ready for pickup.
When picking up your firearm, you will follow the same procedure as if you were purchasing the firearm. The total cost for the transfer is $45.00.

Any Firearm Shipped OUT for Transfer
Before A & S Indoor Pistol Range can ship the firearm for you, we need a copy of the FFL from the company that will be receiving your firearm and the name and
telephone number of the buyer. The shipping cost will be determined by the shipping address.
Do you have a Layaway Plan for Gun Purchases?
Yes you can. Silencers, SBR's include short barreled rifles (less than 16") and short barreled shotguns (less than 18"), and fully automatic firearms require
a different procedure in order to transfer ownership.
The procedure for purchasing or transferring these items is:
1. Two copies of ATF Form 4 (similar to the ATF 4473).
2. Fingerprints. Can be performed at A & S Indoor Pistol Range.
3. Two passport size photographs printed on photo paper.
4. $200 check or money order paid to the BATFE (Bureau Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms
and Explosives) to process.
5. Currently, it is taking between six months to a year for approvals.

Gift Certificates can be redeemed for everything we offer, including: firearms, accessories, range time, targets, ammunition, memberships, leagues, and classes.
Do you offer Frequent Shooters Discounts?
Yes. A & S Indoor Pistol Range offers a “Purple Pistol Perks” card. Each time you pay to shoot at the pistol range, the Range Officer will stamp your card. After
you receive five stamps, you can redeem your card for an hour free range time.
